People with oily skin can relate to this beauty concern quite well. The pestering blackheads can be dealt with the mixture of 2 teaspoons each of orange juice and honey, and mix a pinch of camphor in it. Massage on this paste on your face and wash it off after 5-10 minutes.

2. Brighten your skin

With time, skin loses its luster. Sun, pollution, stress – all of this starts showing on the face. Get rid of the dullness with a face pack by mixing 1 teaspoon of gram flour, a pinch of turmeric powder, few drops of lime juice, 1/2 teaspoon each of olive oil and milk. Apply this pack on the face and leave on for half an hour. Wash it off and notice a visibly radiant skin.

3. Clear-off oily skin

Excess of oil on the skin is never a pleasant feeling. Needless to say, it is the breeding ground for pimples, clogged pores. Mix 1 tablespoon of sandalwood powder with rosewater to make a paste. Apply this pack all over face and neck. Wash it off when completely dry. You can also try fuller’s earth (Multani mitti) face-pack by mixing 2 tablespoons of Multani mitti with rosewater. Make a thin paste and apply over the face and leave it on till completely dry. Wash off with water and get a clean and clear skin.

You might come across different salons providing different quick-fixes for this common skin problem. However, if you apply a natural face-pack using 2 tablespoons of gram flour (besan), 1 tablespoons of grated dried orange peel, 1 tablespoon of milk, a pinch of turmeric powder, you’re bound to see a positive change on the texture of your skin. Mix these ingredients with rose water, apply it on clean face and let it dry for 15-20 minutes. Spray some water on your face and gently scrub this pack in a circular motion. It will naturally exfoliate your skin and remove tan.

5. Zip those zits (acne and pimples)

mint leaves
Mild acne and pimple can be countered with mint leaves. Wash and grind a few mint leaves and make a smooth paste. Apply this paste all over your face and keep it overnight. Wash it off the next morning.
